PLACE + U is an experienced group of planning, design and engineering professionals comprising Kenneth Hennessy Architects, The Planning Partnership, and Martin Peters Associates. We have extensive experience in dealing with a wide range of planning, design and engineering challenges. The senior resources available to PLACE + U allow for the provision of integrated multi-disciplinary services and the skills sets available ensure a sustainable approach to all our projects. The skills and experience available within PLACE + U enable us to offer Planning & Development related services, in conjunction with our Architectural, Landscape and Engineering design services. Our combined experience includes the preparation and implementation of Building Assessment and Analysis Reports, Site Specific Action Plans, Local Area Plans, Feasibility Studies, Masterplans and Guidelines. We have the capacity in-house to address all survey, analysis and design elements of this proposed project. As part of PLACE + U’s design philosophy, we firmly believe that the involvement of all stakeholders is a critical aspect in delivering a successful project which meets our client’s requirements. Kenneth has almost thirty years’ experience in Architecture and Construction Management.  He has led Multi-disciplinary Design Teams on various projects across numerous sectors on commercial, educational, conservation and residential projects. Experienced Architect, Design Team Leader and Employers Representative on public sector projects including public realm, urban masterplans, feasibility studies, residential, libraries, offices, schools and places of assembly.
Wessel Vosloo
Urban, Regional & Environmental Planner
Wessel’s post qualification experience extends to both the Public and Private Sector development environments, locally and internationally, which includes town planning, project management, retail planning, environmental planning and environmental management. He has specific experience in Masterplanning and Retail Development Projects, focusing on the wider potentials from a Town, Retail and Environmental Planning perspective.
Martin Peters
Civil & Transport Engineer
Martin has experience in the construction and development sector over the last 18 years, specialising in infrastructure projects including large scale green field developments and brownfield redevelopment. He has worked on projects including industrial, commercial and retail developments acting as a lead on Masterplan Preparation and Feasibility Assessments.
